1. I felt that the flat classroom project could have been better. None of my group members contributed anything. I'm not sure how this problem could be fixed. You cannot really force someone to contribute. I think every other aspect of the project went pretty well.
2. My favorite tool that we used is the camstudio. This is what I used to make my video. It recorded what I went to on my computer to be added to the video. I think it is a great tool, and I might use it again sometime.
3. If I ever have to make another video, I will know how. We used Windows Movie Maker, and I learned exactly how to use it. I also learned how to embed things into the website. This could be useful for a lot of reasons. I could use it for presentations in school, or something in my free time.
4. Collaboration means working with other people to complete a task. It is useful in the sense that other people can help you, instead of going it alone. When you collaborate online you cannot physically interact with people. It is a little more difficult to get in touch and communicate.
5. The internet will be used for practically anything. It is arguably the best research tool around. Whether people are doing a school project or just looking up what sparks their interest, the internet has a powerful role. I think the internet will be shaping how we learn for many years to come.
6. It is important to cite sources because the information belongs to someone else. If it is your own words and ideas then there is no need for citations. Whenever you are doing research it is very important not to plagiarize. If you plagiarize material in college you can get expelled, so it is definitely something that needs to be avoided.
7. To insure safety one must keep all passwords to themself. If people get a hold on your passwords they can be very dangerous. Another way to stay safe is to avoid certain websites. Many websites can be found to contain viruses. It is very easy to get a virus as they are becoming more and more elaborate.
